Who says Medium doesn’t appreciate humor? They just cracked me up.
I checked my email and discovered that I am now a Top Writer in Fashion!
Anyone who has met me in person knows this is hysterical. I haven’t been fashionable since the early 1980s. [Can we bring back skinny ties, please?] I don’t have the money or energy to be fashionable. And yet, I am a Top Writer in Fashion. [He says while adjusting the collar on his t-shirt and shaking his head pompously.]
Perhaps I should be a Top Writer in Irony.
How did this happen? Tags, of course. In case you didn’t know, tags are the secret recipe to becoming a Top Writer. I simply tagged a few stories with the Fashion tag. One story got curated in Humor [it had both tags,] but I’m not sure if that had any effect on getting Top Writer in Fashion. Medium still douses everything with enigma juice.
