Ever since she was a foal, Winnie envied humans. They got to ride on horses. They seemed confident and in charge. One night she saw a shooting star and wished that she was a human. To her great surprise, her wish came true.
Winnie realized she was lying in the field naked. She snuck into the rancher’s house and took some clothes. Eventually, she got a job and an apartment. And learned to wash clothes and grocery shop. Then she tried dating. What a bunch of jerks.
Winnie soon found herself back at the ranch, waiting for another shooting star.
