Everyone knew King Fruges was eccentric. Still, they were surprised the winter he made a royal decree that all clothing must be made from bird seed. It was a challenge, but it was going fine.

Tweet Fiction is fiction short enough to fit on Twitter. I am calling it Tweet Fiction, not Twitter Fiction (which is common on Twitter) because I like the name better, and this is Medium. Plus, it sounds better than Micro-Micro-Fiction.
