About Those Coconuts

The Thing Is…

I was living on the second floor of a building in a studio apartment. But my apartment had no roof. It was open to a big beautiful blue sky.

There were two trees hanging over my lack of a roof. As I looked up, I saw that one of the trees had a bunch of giant grapes hanging from it.

Although I was alone, I said, “Look! I’ve got grapes.”

Then I noticed that it was really a palm tree and that the giant grapes were actually green coconuts. And some of them were falling into my room.

I thought, “I will gather those and give them to my friends since I don’t like coconut.”

Then I got a text message [my new alarm clock] and woke up.

So if you don’t get any coconuts today, don’t blame me.
