As a fledgling fiction writer, description is the thing I struggle with most. I am far more comfortable with action or dialog. I tend to include bare minimum descriptions of place, mood, or characters. Or none at all. I did make a determined effort to be more descriptive in my latest short story. Including a five-sentence description of a music club as my character entered. LOL! This lesson was helpful to me. Thanks, A.
