Call it a muse or call it inspiration, but when it speaks, I listen! I write the best when I’m inspired. Sure, I could sit down and grind out an essay if I had to. Fortunately, I don’t have to. But if I am inspired to write fiction or humor, you better know, that’s what I’ll be writing.

Ignore the success gurus and listen to your muse. (See? That’s inspired poetry.)

Or ignore me. Which is probably the smartest course of action if writing success or bill-paying is your goal. I just wanna have fun.
