Capitalism in a pure form is not bad. It rewards effort and hard work. But the hearts of men are easily swayed by greed and power, so capitalism and government are often corrupted. They cannot be counted on to make things fair or equitable. Or to be compassionate. My hope is that those with more than they can ever use would be charitable toward those who don’t have enough.
