You could do what I do. Just sell the stuff (or toss it) and then if anyone ever asks about it (rare) just say “it must have got lost when we moved last time.” LOL! (Just kidding. Maybe.)

Actually, my wife has gotten much better at purging. I love it. I hate clutter and storing stuff we never use.
