Even your dry well is funny.

I think everyone runs out of ideas at some point. I keep an idea note on my phone called Medium Ideas (brilliant, huh?) Everytime I get an idea, no matter how stupid, and trust me, most of them are stupid, I write them in that note. Some of them turn out to be great stories if I revisit them a few months later. Sometimes they spur other ideas. Some never leave.

And if all else fails, take a break. I know, Heresy!!!! YOU MUST PUSH THROUGH AND WRITE EVERY DAY!!!!! If it’s your job, one that actually pays, then yeah. But otherwise, taking a break often helps.
