Somewhere on the freeway.

Wally: Jack, you got the tickets, right?
Jack: No. I knew I would forget them. So I gave them to Vern.
Vern: Which was stupid. I’m more forgetful than Jack. One summer I forgot how to talk.
Floyd: Best summer of my life.

Wally: But you do have them, right Vern?
Jack: He better. It’s almost impossible to get tickets to Jeopardy.
Vern: I told you. I’m too forgetful. I gave them to Floyd.
Floyd: Turn around. I forgot them.

They turned around and drove back to Floyd’s place. Floyd got the tickets and they were back on the road.

Wally: Do you remember who the first host of Jeopardy was?
Jack: John Wayne. “Alright, Pilgrim, answer the question.”
Vern: Ha, ha. Not funny. You sound about as much like John Wayne as I sound like Lucille Ball.
Floyd: Actually, you sound more like Katharine Hepburn.

Wally: That’s true. You do, Vern.
Jack: Allen Ludden.
Vern: Nope. He was Password. That show was funny. They don’t make TV like that anymore.
