Good overview of your process, Matt. I am a musician and also write music. Mostly instrumental jazz and vocal popular music. I have often thought it would be fun to learn to compose for an orchestra. But I realize I don’t have the time or dedication it would take.

I also teach guitar and bass. I use Sibelius to notate my music. I love it. It is so helpful to be able to hear your music played back as you work on it. Something you don’t get from paper.
