I took care of my grandson Preston three days a week from the time he was a baby until he went to Kindergarten (while my daughter and son-in-law worked.)

These are “reports” about our day that I used to send to my daughter at work.

We tried a new park today: Walnut Street Park. No snakes [see report #2.] Not many kids there for Preston to play with. Only 7-year-old, “Samantha. Like the American Girl Doll.” They had fun.

We walked down the colorful brick path. Preston stayed on the yellow bricks, and I stayed on the brown ones.

Preston said the bridge in the woods was a little scary.

He liked the dog water fountain and would still be there holding the button if I hadn’t made him stop.

While Preston was swinging, we sang a song. I would like to share the lyrics with you now:

A, b, c, d, e, f, COW!

h, i, j, k, l, m, n, o, COW!

q, r, COW!

t, u, COW!

w, COW!

y and COW!

Now I know my a, b, COW! Next time won’t you sing with COW!

Bonus: Someone left a toy car in the sandbox. We did too.

Overall, Preston said he likes the Kids Together Park better.
