Ha ha. Gerard. I’m 57. I feel your pain. I had the four remote thing going for a while. TV, sound bar, PS3, cable. It was ridiculous. So I got a Harmony universal remote. It was a hassle to set up, but now it is all I need. One button turns on everything including the PlayStation for Netflix or Blue-Ray watching. One button turns on everything for live broadcast TV (we “cut the cable” a couple of years ago.) And one button turns on everything when I hook up my laptop to the TV for watching shows online. Then it controls the functions on everything while we watch.

If the input gets out of sync, there is a Harmony phone app that allows me switch it to the correct input using my phone.

I love it. Even my wife thinks it was worth the $80 (I think that’s what I paid.)
