…hen I catch the typos I missed on my initial rounds of re-reading and revising prior to publishing. My brain frequently insists that missing words are actually there, and just drifts over punctuation and spelling errors like a disinterested hot air balloon. So two-three weeks after publishing I’ll look for the errors.

I usually re-read bits of a story after publishing, if responses are specific to something.

Ha, ha! I think this is universal for writers.

I always get in trouble when I rush to publish something I just wrote. I need to re-read things over a period of days to see what needs tweaking. My brain needs time to switch from creative mode to editing mode.
