Ha, ha. Three is better than one. Just remember that most of those “follow for follow” followers won’t read their stories. I have seen writers with thousands of followers who were only getting a handful of claps for their stories. Hacks are often not worth the effort. You want active, loyal followers. And you have to earn those.

I get followers all the time who have never read or clapped for any of my stories. So I have to assumne they were just fishing for a follow back (which they didn’t get.) Probably 75% of my followers don’t read my stories. It’s one of the sad things about Medium.
