Here In This Moment

Let me live

I want to live
Here in this moment
Oblivious to the past
No thought of the future
Ignoring the problems of the day

Let me enjoy the warmth of your touch
The curve of your cheek that I know so well
The smell of your hair

The company I seek
The conversation that says nothing and says everything
The bond that only grows with time

Let me stay here in this moment

A few years ago, I decided to fulfill a life-long dream of recording a jazz album of original songs. Since I had no money for studio time or a jazz band, I recorded the album at home on my laptop. I played all the instruments, except the drums tracks, which I assembled using drum loops and single hits.
