I agree. It doesn’t make any sense to mix random responses with stories. “Profile” is the page, it doesn’t make sense as a category. There should be a Stories tab for just stories. Responses should not be considered “stories.” They are responses (comments.) Then have a Responses tab, a Highlights tab, and a Claps tab. Each containing only their category. Easy to understand, easy to use.

I am hoping this is just a bit of bored engineer or designer temporary insanity. And a logical UI will eventually win out. Like Sonny & Cher sang, “The tweaks go on.”
