I am enjoying my Substack far more than Medium lately. The sense of a fun, creative writer community on Medium has almost disappeared. Yet, the feel of community is growing for me on Substack. Most of the writers I used to love to read on Medium have left or gone inactive. I struggle to find good things to read on Medium now. And, of course, my earning on Medium have dropped to pitiful levels.

And like you said, although I have 2.5k “followers” on Medium, only a handful of them read my stories. On Substack I average 35% or better.

I used to love Medium, and I keep hoping Medium will turn things around. But, sadly, the constant changes only seem to make things worse (for me.)
