I can totally relate. I have been continually amazed and horrified that so many Christians decided to blindly worship at the alter of Trump (an obviously non-Christ-like person.) Or believe that the Republican Party can defend Christian values. Both are misguided faith.

If Christians want a "Christian nation" they need change hearts, not laws. Laws are the result of changed hearts and minds. Not the opposite.

The Church needs do the work of the Church. The Government is not designed for it, and woefully bad at it. It is full of politicians.

These are strange times, indeed.
