My wife and I walk the same route frequently. We have said Hello to him and introduced ourselves, but he was not very talkative and seemed quite uncomfortable. So we left him to his walk. We still say “hey” when we pass him but he doesn’t seem to want to engage any more than that.

Plus I don’t think running out of my house with a sandwich in my hand to introduce myself to a stranger walking by and then asking if I could join him on a walk would be a great idea. 😳
