I have fond memories of 2108 Medium (the year I jumped in the pool). When the humorous responses were often as good or better than the humor stories (well, at least mine.)

Who would have thought that a year and a half later many of the great humor writers would slip out the back door and all we would have left is satire.

ThunderPuff, a skeleton named Roy, plus a handful of others were like lighthouses to me, shining the way around the "big ideas and important stories" that saturate Medium, but never bring a smile.

I am sorry to hear about your Mom. Lee lost her Mom unexpectedly this year also. Nothing makes that any easier.
