I have tried serial fiction also. Reads usually tapers off with each part. I recently did a three part story that got 11, 6, and 5 reads. So I guess that was a success. Five people actually read it all. I think I just need to adjust my expectations for fiction.

I know there a lot of incomplete stories in parts on Medium. So I understand people not wanting to take a chance on a story that may never get finished.
