I imagine people think they are being encouraging when they say things like “You are going to do great things.” But the truth is, only a handful of people ever get the opportunity to do world-changing things. And that is the way it should be. We can’t all be world-changers. The world couldn’t handle that much change. LOL!

But we can change our little corner of the world. If we would think locally more than globally, I think more good would get acomplished.

Yes, some should go and try to change the whole world. I think God raises up those people, whether they like it or not. But I think most of us should try to change “our world” for the better right where we are. There are people in need (financially, emotionally, spiritually, physically, lonely, etc.) everywhere. We don’t need to try to change the world, just try to change our world. I think it’s called “Love your neighbor.”
