I like serializations also. Although I have been burned several times when the writer abandoned the project. So I am cautious about starting to read one now. Unless I know the writer has completed some already.

I read P.G. Barnett’s Henry James stories. But I started really late to the game and have been reading them in order. So I usually binge read a whole story (all the parts) at once. But Paul knocks them out faster than I can catch up. LOL!

I think my novel may have worked well as a serial because each part was essentially a small story in a bigger story.

Medium is definitely not designed for serialization, so you have to make it work for readers with a contents story and linking each part in a chain. But it is not that much extra work.
