I looked at News Break, but as mainly a humor and fiction writer, it didn't seem like a suitable place for me. I rarely write about current events or news, so I have no desire to fight against another editorial focus. I already do that on Medium.

Plus I looked at my "local news page" and there were at least 30 versions of the same local news story. So it's not something I would read.
