I saw Eddie Money open up for Santana in 1977, maybe ‘78. His first album had just came out and Two Tickets To Paradise was a hit.

I never saw The Cars. They were definitely a bridge from the rock of the 70s to the synth bands and New Wave of the 80s. I remember thinking how different that first album was from what was on the radio at the time.
