I saw the preview for this on Netflix and their ages didn’t even register with me until I read this. Maybe because I am roughly in that age group (61.) I hope they are playing their real ages and not trying to pass for 30s. Which is always ridiculous.
It sound like they broke a few romcom stereotypes for the better. I may have to watch it.
I also agree. There is too much “gritty” “real life” depressing television. I watch TV to be entertained or escape reality not relive it.
