I totally get it. Some of the stories I thought were my best tanked. I wonder if it was just timing? What would happen if I published them now? And I have a story I hesitated to publish back in July that now has over 7k views (an essay, of course.) And its numbers just keep growing. It’s crazy trying to figure out what to do.

I know short stuff, under four minutes or so, has very little chance of getting curated, except maybe comics or poems. And those don’t make the homepage anyway.

I think each writer has to decide what is best for them. And nothing works for everyone. I am still on the fence about republishing. Although I will undoubtedly fall one way or the other eventually.
