I was a rocker in the 70s also. And remember the “disco sucks” nonsense at the time. I didn’t like the cheesy clap tracks they put on a lot of disco, but I always liked the Bee Gees. Even though it wasn’t “cool” back then. My music tastes are very wide. I like some of the Monkees’ songs (Neil Diamond wrote I’m A Believer for them. Glen Campbell played guitar on Last Train To Clarksville.) Good songs are good songs. I never understood only liking one narrow genre of music. It’s like going to a smorgasbord and only eating potatoes.

But, obviously, I couldn’t hate you for your preference in music. That would be ridiculous. And very teenager-y.
