Bebe, I watched my 1st grandson three days a week while his parents worked from when he was born until he started kindergarten. We went to the park a lot! I was only 46 when he was born so I had more energy. After he started school I told my daughters that was it. No more Grandpa daycare. It’s too exhausting.

I don’t regret it because my oldest grandson and I are very close because of it, but I don’t think I could do it again at age 58. The grandkids will occasionally spend the night now, but that is the limit. It is too tiring.
