I wrote under an alias for a while also. I thought I wanted to address some controversial topics freely. And an alias is good for that. But I didn’t find it satisfying. I found out didn’t really enjoy sharing my opinions anonymously.

Plus I went about it all wrong. I created a fictional character for my persona that that I fell in love with. And I soon started writing humor and fiction (my usual topics) as that character, which were more popular than the character’s serious essays.

I also didn’t like that the character was getting the credit for the things I wrote. LOL. So I closed the alias account and reposted the humor and fiction stories under my real name account (giving the character the byline.)
