It sounds like you are on the right track. I haven’t worked on my novel in a couple of months, not because it is ready to edit (it’s not. I figure I’m about halfway done), but because I have been too obsessed with Medium. LOL!

But I think all the writing I have been doing on Medium the past four months will probably benefit my novel in the long run, as I feel I am growing as a writer. At least I hope so. I am not chasing a writing career, but I always want to get better at what I do.
