Justin, I grew up in Michigan. I went to Ohio every summer to go to Cedar Point. Don’t think I’ve ever been to Winesburg, though. Or are you talking about the novel by Sherwood Anderson? (I had a suspicion there might be a book called that and Googled it.)

I have to admit, I am woefully ignorant of classic literature. I was a go outside and play kid. I did my best to avoid reading or any other sedentary undertakings. Being still was not my forte. LOL! I didn’t really begin reading novels until I was in my 30s. And then it was usually fantasy or sci-fi.

I have not read Winesburg, Ohio the book and probably will not now, lest it influence me.

Littletown was just a concept. Probably influence more by “Mayberry, North Carolina” than any book. But, I’ll take it as a compiment. If they still sell the book on Amazon a century later, it must be good.
