Melanie has such a unique voice. I am surprised she didn’t become a bigger star. I only really knew of her from her quirky song Brand New Key until last year when I “discovered” some of her music on Apple Music. I think she probably got viewed as a 1960s “hippie” act. And fell out of fashion. Fortunately her music is still around for those who dig a little.
