More than anything, I want people to read and enjoy my writing, so Reads and Fans have always been the most important stats to me. Then I like responses (the social aspect, and best part of Medium to me), which is not even included in the stats.

I don’t make enough money on Medium to give it much thought. I appreciate the little I make, but writing is not my career, so I don’t stress about it. Money is not my primary goal for writing. Thankfully, since I’d starve!
