My LinkedIn account got hacked a while back. Everything was gone except my name. It was never really any benefit to me. So I closed it. Not easy. You have to jump through hoops and email LinkedIn people showing proof of who you are to do it. I’m not kidding.

I also dumped Twitter. I only read it for Tom Hanks and Steve Martin anyway. Don’t really miss it or the pound signs (or as the kids call them, hashtags), acronyms, and incomplete sentences.

My Facebook is private with about 2o0 friends and family. Half of which I unfollow because I don’t care to read their daily political rants. But it’s gotten pretty boring lately.

Instagram is where my daughter in New York City posts photos. They are why I check it. And I occasionally post a photo when I am out and about.

I guess I am doing social media “wrong.” But I waste far less time then I used to. The sun shines a little brighter now. And I like people better.
