My main writing app is Scrivener. It allows me to get all geeky and organize all my “In Progress”, “Ready To Post”, and “Posted” Medium writings into categories, yet keep them all one file called Medium. I also use it for the novel and a series of short stories I am working on.

Scrivener has a mobile app but it has to sync through Dropbox, which it does when it launches and is slow. So for quick ideas on my iPhone or iPad I use Bear. Like Evernote, it automatically syncs across all my devices, but I like it better than Evernote. Then I copy and paste those ideas into Scrivener on my Mac.

I use UnSplash on Medium for most of the images. It is SO convenient and the images are great. In fact, I discovered Medium through an UnSplash email.

That’s it. I keep it simple.
