Now I can’t help but wonder if he was named after the Robert Redford movie Jeremiah Johnson which was filmed in Utah. Perhaps the photo was taken the moment his parents told him he was named after a movie about a mountain man who occasionally hung out with the Grandpa from The Waltons (when he wasn’t hunting “grizz”) and a bald guy and had to fight for his life while Tim McIntire sang The Legend of Jeremiah Johnson.

I guess I’ll never know.
