On iOS most apps that use typing have voice to text. Apple Note does. And so does my favorite note app Bear. Even Medium has it. I have been talking in my notes for a long time. It is so much quicker than typing when capturing an idea. You have to do a little clean up sometimes but it is still great.

Look for a little microphone icon on your onscreen keyboard next to the space bar.

If you have an iPhone you can tell Siri “new note.” She will say “what do you want it to say?” Then talk in what you want to say and Siri will create a new note containing the text of what you spoke.

I imagine Android has something similar.

Sometimes technology actually does make life easier. 🙂
