Pages is definitely not a business program. It is a FREE word processor that comes with every Mac or iPad. Designed for casual users. I use it several times a week for making chord charts for my students and bands. It works great for that. It’s easy to use. It saves to pdf. That’s all I need. Word or WordPerfect would be massive overkill for me. And an unnecessary expense.

I use Scrivener for most of my writing, because of it’s organizational abilities. All my Medium writing (every story) lives in one Scrivener file, making it very easy to access anything. My novel in-progress is in another Scrivener file.

I have been using Macs since 1990. I am the opposite of you. I hate having to use a PC or Microsoft software, because the software and OS is so clunky and hard to use (to me.) To avoid lawsuits from Apple, Microsoft made Windows function significantly different than Apple OS. Which is why PC users struggle with Apple and Apple users struggle with PCs.

The truth is, they are both tools. Use what works best for you. It’s personal preference. I will use Apple products until they stop making them. They all work seamlessly together. And work great for me.

Enjoy your spreadsheet. 😉💚
