If I was smart as that chap Sherlock
I would have listened to Zach J. Watson
Then maybe I would drive a Beemer
Instead of an old Datsun

And learn to write great prose
Words others would admire
Then I might be more like
That Aussie, A Maguire

Or learn to write descriptions
Sharper than an icepick
And bring characters to life
Like the skillful Stephen M. Tomic

Perhaps go on grand adventures
So folks could read my pennings
And marvel at my courage
Just like I was Edd Jennings

Or grab The Weekly Knob
To see what waits within
And write delightful stories
Like Texan Terrye Turpin

Or make the masses laugh
With comics all enjoy
And put on a cloak of bones
Like the one and only Roy
