Nestori had heard the warnings his whole life.
“All who enter get hopelessly lost and never return.”
But he had also heard the rumors.
“There are humans on the other side who will teach you to fly.”
Ever since he was a calf, Nestori envied birds. He wanted to soar through the sky like his feathered friends. If there was any chance of the rumors being true, he must risk it. He must make his way to the North Pole.
So after mustering all his courage, Nestori took one last look at his home and stepped into the blurry forest.
