Some write for money. Some write for recognition. Some to heal. Some write because it is their dream. But a poet must write poetry to live. Just as a singer must sing. A storyteller must tell stories. It is food for the soul. You are a poet.

I am an odd duck who writes for the enjoyment of interacting with an audience (Medium is where I found my audience.) An entertainer, if you will. So your kind words are like music to my ears. Or sweet applause.

Thank you, Dermott, for the high praise. But I rarely wear Renaissance period clothing anymore. 😉
