Thank you, Dennett. I am not excusing poor grammar. But I see many articles about writing that are dogmatic about rules and formulas for writing fiction. Often by writers who I’ve never heard of. Did Hemingway write like Shakespeare or Christie or Tolkien or Austen? No. So why are people trying to turn everyone into writing clones? Individuality is good.

At least, that’s my non-expert opinion.
