Thank you, Dennett. It is a nice dream isn’t it? It would make a fun music video, I think.

When I saw the photo, I thought it looked like a crowd at a concert, with sunflowers instead of people. The rest came quickly.

I did a little research and discovered that sunflowers were first domesticated in what is now Mexico and the southern U.S. So naturally, I wanted to use popular Mexican (Spanish) names for the band members. I envisioned a “boy band” that was a “sunflower band.”

I after I wrote it, I thought of you and Weeds & Wildflowers. I am glad you liked it.
