Thanks, John. I agree, is a character is not a fluent English speaker and that fact is important to the story, then it would be appropriate to show that in the dialog. As long as it doesn’t become too distracting from the story. The story is more important than strictly accurate dialect or accents, in my opinion. Fiction is entertainment. Save the strict authenticity for textbooks and non-fiction.
