I use Affinty Designer software to make my comics. I use its “shape” tool to make basic shapes like ovals and rectanges. Then I use the “node” tool to reshape the basic shapes. Then I combine the shapes, add color, and texture. That’s basically it.

There is a lengthy learning curve to use the software, but they have lots of excellent tutorial videos that will teach you everything you need to know. The rest is experimentation and lots of practice.

I am not a trained artist. If I can do it, you probably can also if you are committed enough.
