The 40s in general were the worse decade for me. I lost my job at 46 and had to start a new career. I had three teenage girls at home fighting all the time. And my youth was over. But my 50s were far better. Out of debt. Joined two bands. Empty nester. Life was far less busy and more enjoyable. I just turned 60 in July. And a couple of weeks before my birthday, I finished my first novel.

Although 2020 has been pretty stinky so far. But that has nothing to do with my age.
