The change in payment method caused a mass exodus at the time. There are a few of my fellow creative writers still around from back then. But most are gone or inactive now. It is a vastly different Medium now. The creative writer community feel I had back in 2018-2019 is gone. It is a shame. I hung around hoping things would improve. But I haven’t seen much. So I started my own Substack, where I have found that writer community feel again. Best of luck to you.
