Bethany Bison knows the sting of loneliness. Although she travels with the female herd most of the year, she is often alone. It’s envy. Pure and simple. She knows it. The other Bison envy her magnificent horns and wind-swept mane. But what can she do?

Is it her fault she is so photogenic? She didn’t even know what Instagram was three years ago. Now she is sought after by social media photographers from around the world. She has appeared on Instagram, Unsplash, Pixabay, and even 500px. She is a superbison.

But not by choice. Sometimes she wishes she was a goat. No one puts goat photos in their portfolio.

The worst part is, she knows she will likely end up as an image for one Mark Starlin’s Hollister Bootstone stories on Medium. Oh, the humanity!

For now, all she can do is butt heads with the other bison and hope this social media thing is just a fad.
